Congratulations to UTS (formerly MMC) Alumni Hunter Martin featured intern at Brent Cooper – District Attorneys – 22nd Judicial District.
Hunter Martin, a Savannah, Tenn., native, is today’s featured intern. Hunter, an intern for Brent Cooper- District Attorney – 22nd Judicial District, recently graduated magna cum laude from Martin Methodist in Pulaski, Tenn., with a degree in criminal justice with an emphasis in psychology. He will be starting law school in Memphis, Tenn., this fall at Cecil C Humphreys School of Law. Recently, Hunter had a paper accepted for the competition to be published with the Pi Gamma Mu social sciences honor society. One of his most notable professional accomplishments was being offered a summer internship with the District Attorney’s Office. He plans on becoming a prosecutor when he finishes law school and potentially becoming a District Attorney one day. For fun, Hunter enjoys hanging out with friends and reading. He’s passionate about education and the environment. As an undergrad in college, Hunter was extremely active in trying to make the campus more sustainably oriented. He did this by heading and implementing clean water initiatives that brought more filtered water stations throughout campus and pushing for more recycling campuswide.
