FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
May 18, 2020
PULASKI, Tenn. – Martin Methodist College (now the University of Tennessee Southern) is pleased to announce its second annual Martin Methodist Monday will be June 8, 2020.
Martin Methodist Monday is an online day of giving campaign. All donations go to UTS (formerly MMC)’s annual fund, which helps with campus improvements and student needs. With last year’s success of over $20,000 in donations, UTS (formerly MMC) hopes to top that dollar amount for the 2020 Martin Methodist Monday.
“More than ever, UTS (formerly MMC)’s sustainability is vital as we help our students find their paths and purposes during these uncertain times,” said UTS (formerly MMC) Director of Alumni Affairs and Annual Fund Jaymi Ray. “Our annual fund helps provide scholarships for students, and it funds unforeseen events that are not budgeted, such as the surprise of sending our athletic teams to national championships! I hope that June 8 will be a day to bring awareness to UTS (formerly MMC) and its annual fund.”
