
Dr. Ashley Allison has been named Director of Student & Campus Engagement for the University of Tennessee Southern. Dr. Allison joins the UT Southern team from Roane State Community College in Morgan County, TN where she served as Campus Director. As the Director of Student & Campus Engagement, Dr. Allison will be coordinating and enhancing the student experience for UT Southern students. She will lead initiatives and provide leadership opportunities to advance student learning and engagement.
Dr. Allison received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Austin College in Sherman, Texas. She then added a Master of Professional Studies in Strategic Leadership from Tennessee Tech and finally received her Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Liberty University. Originally from Texas, Dr. Allison is committed to resourcing rural students. “I am excited to work on a close-knit campus in a rural location. My heart is truly in the mission that UT Southern fulfills when it connects students to the wealth of opportunities that the UT System has to offer,” says Allison.
