Celebrate United States Constitution Day and the importance of the founding documents by visiting our campus on September 17th. The University of Tennessee Southern will hand out pocket copies of the Constitution free for taking in the Warden Memorial Library and Colonial Hall.
Constitution Day is a celebration of the formation and signing of the U.S. Constitution by thirty-nine of the 55 Delegates to the Constitutional Convention on September 17th, 1787. The date is also designated Citizenship Day to focus on the rights and responsibilities of citizens under the Constitution.
