SUMMARY:UT Southern and Tennessee Holocaust Commission to Host Evening with Pastor Chris Edmonds
DESCRIPTION:Be the Hero: An Evening with Pastor Chris Edmonds \nJoin the UT Southern community for a powerful and inspiring evening with Pastor Chris Edmonds\, son of WWII hero Master Sergeant Roddie Edmonds\, whose extraordinary courage saved the lives of hundreds of Jewish soldiers in a Nazi POW camp. \nPastor Edmonds is the CEO of Roddie’s Code and author of the award-winning book No Surrender: A Father\, a Son\, and an Extraordinary Act of Heroism That Continues to Live on Today. Through his father’s remarkable story and his own journey of discovery\, Edmonds shares a timeless message of faith\, moral courage\, and the power of standing up for what is right—especially when it matters most. \nThis event invites students\, faculty\, staff\, and community members to reflect on leadership\, character\, and the quiet heroism found in ordinary lives lived with purpose. \nThis event is free and open to the public. We encourage students\, faculty\, staff\, and community members to attend. \nFor more information\, please contact Elizabeth Hagan. \n
