On February 19th, 2024, UT Southern will host Dr. George Ella Lyon, former poet laureate of Kentucky and noted poet, playwright, teacher, fiction writer, and storyteller. Dr. Lyon will speak with classes (nursing, religion and philosophy, business, e.g.) and give a presentation to the public. Please check back for scheduling information.
Dr. Williams, a renowned storyteller, served as a Storyteller in Residence on campus until his death. Gifts in his memory make this day possible.
