Dr. Bourke is the former (retired) Chief Psychologist for the U.S. Marshals and a George Washington University Professor. He served as the head of the USMS Behavioral Analysis Unit. He was a sworn federal law enforcement officer and certified polygraph examiner; before his deputation with the USMS he worked in local, state, and federal corrections for 20 years, including eight years evaluating and treating sex offenders at a federal prison. He has taught various courses at the graduate level since 2006.
