At approximately 2:47 PM, UT Southern Security received a call of a potential threat in the area. The university immediately issued a shelter in place order while state and local authorities evaluated the threat.
No active threat was identified, and state and local authorities issued an all clear at 4:03 PM. Classes for the remainder of the day have been cancelled.
