1St Lt Victor Andrea is currently the 118th Security Forces Operations Officer and 118th Wing Anti-Terrorism Officer in the Tennessee Air National Guard at Berry Field, Nashville, Tennessee. In a civilian law enforcement capacity, he served for over 20 years with the New York City Police Department (NYPD) as a Police Officer, Detective, Sergeant, Sergeant-Detective, and retired at the rank of Lieutenant in 2013.

During his tenure with NYPD, he was assigned to several different commands including patrol, Community Policing, Narcotics, the Street Crime Unit, Anti-Crime, the Counter-Terrorism Division, and spent 9 years on the Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) in New York and the National Joint Terrorism Task Force in Washington DC.
