We will be hosting the inaugural speaker of the Speer Distinguished Entrepreneur Series, Mr. Don Denbo. Mr. Denbo is a serial entrepreneur with ventures in several sectors. He was a co-founder of Commercial Insurance Associates, a leading casualty insurer and risk management firm, where he remains Executive Chair. He was a star football player and scholar-athlete at UT Knoxville. He went on to earn his Ph.D. in Economics at the London School of Economics. He is a published poet, and benefactor of the Denbo Center for the Humanities and the Arts at UT Knoxville.

Mr. Denbo, a native from Pulaski, will visit the campus, deliver a talk (with Q&A) for students, faculty, and community, and attend a dinner in his honor. The talk will be livestreamed.
