UT Southern Welcomes Students Back with Firehawk Welcome Week and Community Celebration

PULASKI, TN – The University of Tennessee Southern is excited to announce the return of students to campus for the Fall 2024 semester, marked by our annual Firehawk Welcome Week. From August 17 to August 20, the campus will be buzzing with activities designed to kick off the academic year and welcome new and returning students.

As a highlight of the week, we are thrilled to invite the entire Pulaski community to join us for a special evening of celebration on Tuesday, August 20. The festivities will feature a community-wide concert and fireworks display on the Campus Green, beginning at 7:00 PM. This event is a chance for residents to connect with our students, share in the excitement of a new year, and enjoy an unforgettable night together.

“We are excited to share this special occasion with our local community,” said UT Southern Chancellor, Dr. Linda C. Martin. “This annual event is a wonderful opportunity for everyone to come together, celebrate the start of the school year, and strengthen the bond between UT Southern and the greater Pulaski area.”

We encourage everyone to bring their family and friends to join in this celebration and help us give our students a warm welcome back to campus.
