Biography

Dr. Vickers received his BS degree from the University of North Alabama and his MA and PhD from Mississippi State University. He also holds a Certificate in Campus Sustainability Leadership from the University of Vermont’s School of Continuing Education. He specializes in the American South and the American West, as well as United States social and cultural history. He has taught at the University of North Alabama, Mississippi State University, and the Mississippi University for Women. He has been at Martin Methodist College/UTSouthern since 2005.
