Biography
Dr. Ryckman is a historian of medieval, world, and gender history with a particular interest is how religious beliefs shape our past, present, and future. She has two bachelor’s degrees – one in English and one in History – and received her PhD in History from the University of California, Irvine in 2011. She is also a wife, mom, inveterate reader, animal lover, and avid crocheter when she finds the time.
