Biography

Scott Gaines earned his B.S degree in Elementary Education from Middle Tennessee State University in 1992. He retired from Maury County Public Schools in 2022. During his tenure in the Maury County school system, he served as teacher, assistant principal, principal, instruction supervisor, federal programs director and assistant superintendent. Scott joined the faculty at UT Southern in 2023.
