Biography

Dr. Cosby received his BS degree in Chemical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University in 2013 and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2018. Following two years as a research professor at the United States Naval Academy, investigating the dissolution of cellulosic biomass by ionic liquids and structure-property relationships of chloroaluminate ionic liquids, he joined the Mathematics and Sciences faculty at the University of Tennessee Southern in 2021.
