UT Southern enrichment camps provide opportunities for learners of all ages to explore creativity, discover new interests, and engage with the arts in a welcoming campus environment.
Through programs focused on music, visual arts, film, and creative expression, participants experience hands-on learning led by university faculty, staff, and community partners. These experiences are designed to inspire imagination, build confidence, and foster lifelong appreciation for the arts.
From summer music and arts camps to special creative workshops and youth programming hosted throughout the year, UT Southern continues to expand opportunities that connect campus talent with community engagement.
While UT Southern does not currently offer a Visual Arts major, students may explore a wide range of art courses, including Ceramics, Painting, Drawing, Two- and Three-Dimensional Design, Photography, and Computer Arts. Many of these courses are also open to community members, homeschooled students, and public high school students participating through dual enrollment opportunities.
The NOVA Entrepreneur Center at UT Southern serves as a hub for innovation, entrepreneurship, and small business growth across Southern Middle Tennessee. Designed to support aspiring entrepreneurs, startups, and established businesses, NOVA connects community members with resources, mentorship, and educational programming that help turn ideas into sustainable ventures.
Through workshops, networking opportunities, business development support, and partnerships with regional industry leaders, NOVA strengthens the local economy while creating experiential learning opportunities for UT Southern students.
By fostering innovation and empowering problem-solvers, the NOVA Entrepreneur Center reflects UT Southern’s commitment to advancing opportunity and economic vitality throughout the communities we serve.

Firehawk Athletic Camps
Firehawk Athletics brings energy, excellence, and community spirit to campus year-round. Competing in the NAIA’s Southern States Athletic Conference, UT Southern student-athletes represent a tradition grounded in teamwork, character, and competitive success.
Through youth sports camps and clinics led by Firehawk coaches and student-athletes, young competitors have the opportunity to build skills, grow confidence, and experience collegiate athletics in a supportive environment. These camps introduce participants to high-level coaching while creating meaningful connections with UT Southern athletics and campus life.

Facility Usage Policy for Authorized Events
UT Southern proudly welcomes opportunities for community partners, organizations, and affiliated groups to utilize campus facilities for meetings, programs, and special events that align with the university’s mission and serve the broader community.
University spaces are primarily reserved for official institutional activities sponsored by academic and administrative departments, student organizations, and affiliated entities. In select circumstances, designated facilities may also be available for use by external organizations when requests align with university priorities and availability.
To ensure consistent and responsible use of campus resources, all facility reservations are guided by the University of Tennessee Southern Facility Usage Policy.
