UT Southern Youth & Summer Camps provide hands-on, faculty-led experiences designed to spark curiosity, strengthen confidence, and introduce participants to future academic and career pathways. 2026 UT Southern Camps
Future Firehawk Nursing Camp
Dates: June 15–17, 2026
Time: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Audience: High School Juniors & Seniors
Location: UT Southern Campus & Southern Tennessee Regional Health System
Cost: $50
Capacity: 20 Students
An immersive introduction to UT Southern’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, this hands-on camp allows students to experience healthcare training in a real university setting.
Participants will:
- Train in the Nursing Simulation Lab
- Earn CPR certification
- Practice essential nursing skills
- Participate in patient-care simulations
- Tour a local hospital
- Engage with nursing faculty and healthcare professionals

Nova Entrepreneurship Boot Camp
Dates: June 8–11, 2026
Audience: High School Students
Location: UT Southern Campus
Cost: Free
Capacity: 30 Students
A dynamic entrepreneurship experience where students turn ideas into action while learning how innovation becomes business success.
Participants will:
- Develop business concepts
- Conduct market research
- Build branding strategies
- Learn funding fundamentals
- Work alongside mentors
- Present a final business pitch

Project Firehawk: Soar Into STEM
Dates: June 15–19, 2026
Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
(Extended option available until 2:00 PM)
Audience: 6th–10th Grade Students
Location: Andrews Science Building
Cost: $175
Capacity: 15–30 Students
Designed to spark curiosity and confidence in math and science, Project Talon introduces students to STEM through engaging, hands-on exploration.
Participants will experience:

Law Enforcement Innovation Center Training Camp
Dates: Summer 2026 (Flexible Scheduling)
Audience: Practicing Law Enforcement Officers
Location: On Campus & Statewide
Cost: Free
Capacity: 15–20 Participants
Specialized homeland security and domestic terrorism training led by Criminal Justice faculty in partnership with the University of Tennessee Law Enforcement Innovation Center.
This professional development program supports statewide safety initiatives while strengthening industry partnerships.
