Handshake provides the Office of Career Development with the chance to strengthen student experiences by connecting them with career opportunities and allowing local, regional, and national employers to recruit UT Southern students and alumni.
Students
Once you log into Handshake using your UT Southern email address, you can begin developing your profile. You should include your major, skills, and any relevant volunteer or work experience. Be sure to upload your résumé, cover letter, and any other relevant documentation for review by the Office of Career Development!
Once your profile is all set, you can connect with employers who are actively recruiting for internships and job opportunities. You can also apply for many positions directly through the Handshake platform.

Employers
Handshake provides a centralized opportunity for students and alumni to view positions posted by recruiters. The Handshake platform is also designed for students to apply to those positions and schedule interviews. Registration and advertisement for events like our Career Fairs are handled through Handshake as well, so be sure you are connected with our University!
