Bachelor of Arts Fine Arts

Whether you’re pursuing a major or exploring these disciplines through our general education core, our mission is to cultivate creative expression, foster cultural awareness, and develop critical thinking and interpersonal skills that prepare you for a dynamic future. Our Bachelor of Fine Arts major offers three concentration options: Art, Dramatic Arts, and Music.

Beyond campus borders, our program extends unique opportunities for off-campus programs that will enrich your fine arts skills and broaden your career opportunities. Whether it’s through internships, workshops, or collaborations with other Fine Arts concentrations, you’ll have the chance to explore cross-disciplinary projects that inspire and excite, expanding your artistic horizons.

UT Southern’s commitment to student success is evident in our small class sizes and personalized attention, averaging just 13.4 students per class. Student-produced theatre productions, music ensembles, one-on-one music lessons, studio media classes, and student art exhibits allow you to put classroom theories into practice, refine your craft and build a robust portfolio for your future career.

Admission to the BA with a Music concentration requires a successful audition.
