Prior Learning Assessment at UT Southern allows you to earn college credit for what you already know and experience you’ve already built. We work with you to determine appropriate college credit for the knowledge, skills, and relevant experience you bring with you.
We use several methods to determine credit, including the following: competency-based exams, standardized exams, portfolio assessment, AP and International Baccalaureate exams, and dual enrollment credit.
