What It Means to be a Firehawk

At UT Southern, being a Firehawk means more than just attending classes—it’s about active involvement in civic engagement, service projects, intramural sports, student organizations, and leadership opportunities. The Division of Student Affairs is dedicated to supporting your growth, safety, satisfaction, and success.

Division of Student Affairs

The Division of Student Affairs supports students in all areas of their lives. This support includes focus outside the classroom, focusing on community and belonging, health, wellness, and student satisfaction.

Community and Belonging

Help us further our mission to support students in all areas of their lives.

Connecting UT Southern students, the Pulaski community, and the UT System are related to students’ success and impact in the community. Many of our events and programs are designed to help students build community and make friends. Ultimately, know that they are integral to the UT Southern family!

Health and Wellness

When students are healthy in body, mind, and spirit, they can be successful. Habits we can begin to integrate during college contribute to life-long wellness!

Student Satisfaction

We want our students to graduate and be Firehawks for life. Much of our programming is designed to increase students’ satisfaction with the UT Southern experience. We strive to be nimble and innovative with events and opportunities for students to engage.
